How it all began!

Costessa Siyroun

It all began in Scotland with Rosmear's very first Caspian Stallion, Costessa Siyroun. Siyroun was ridden as a 4 year old and taught his child rider the ropes, who was then aged 8 riding her first stallion!

Notable for his amazing paces and temperament, Siyroun's excellent characteristics have been passed on to the Rosmear Stud stock you can see today. Siyroun had a successfully showing and ridden career, on the flat and over jumps with his child rider.

Siyroun stood to the stud's foundation mares, Hopstone Lili, who produced her first son by him Rosmear Bahoosh, and then Rosmear Batool and with Hopstone Sasha, producing Rosmear Ramesh and Rosmear Koochaloo, and the rest is history! Siyroun's progeny have been sold to countries around the world, including champion stock.
